Meet The Founders

Meaghan Burke
Meaghan is an undergraduate student at Harvard College. She is an enthusiastic, open-minded, and motivated student with experience in science, medicine, and research. Meaghan holds a unique curiosity about medical history, neonatology, oncology, and biomedical engineering. She spends most of her time exploring the medical field, traveling, training for half marathons, baking, and reading books.

Lilia Martirosian
Lilia is a student at UCLA studying Molecular, cell, and developmental biology. She aspires to deepen her interests in cardiology, sports medicine, and medical research. She has demonstrated her passion by founding 'the American Heart Association Club' at her high school. Her other interests include dance choreography, creative writing, playing the piano, and going on adventures with friends.
Meet The Mentors

Jasmin Sanchez,
Pediatric Neurology Resident
Jasmin Sanchez is a current Pediatric Neurology Resident at UCLA. She graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine (class of 2022). Jasmin grew up in Los Angeles and is an undergraduate alma mater of the University of California, Riverside (UCR). She has always had a passion for mentoring students with various interests. Her favorite part about being a mentor of the Pathoknowledge program is getting to meet all the students and sharing her experiences. She has a youtube channel (Medlifeexperience) that exposes insight on her life as a medical student. Jasmin is excited to be a mentor for the Pathoknowledge program!

Richard Martirosian, PM&R Resident
Richard Martirosian is a Medical Resident in PM&R. He graduated medical school at the University of Arizona School of Medicine in Tucson. He graduated from the University of California, Riverside with a bachelor's degree in neuroscience. He claims medicine to be a complex and fascinating field that he enjoys sharing his experiences and mentoring students passionate about it.

Adon Khachikian,
Radiology Resident
Dr. Adon Khachik is a Medical Resident in Radiology. Her graduated from the California University of Science and Medicine. He believes the Pathoknowledge program is a great way to get familiarized with medicine. He strives to help open the door to Pathoknowledge members as best as possible. Adon understands how stressful it can be trying to decide on a career that you know very little about. But with the program, he believes the Pathoknowledge team can give students a better understanding of the process and help alleviate that anxiety. He's excited to be a mentor for the Pathoknowledge program!
